WOW. So cool to see this project coming to life. Two years ago I was in a class at Art Center which was partnered with L.A. Unified School District, and the purpose of the class was to create an anti-gun campaign to actually be used in the classrooms of L.A. middle schools and hopefully go national. In the beginning of the class, we researched for 4 weeks or so and every student had to pitch 3 ideas to the classroom to figure out which ideas would be produced. We then pitched the produced concepts to the school district, where they will chose one of the final 3 projects. My idea pitched in the class made it into production then was the final idea chosen and is now an actual campaign. We had a great team that brought the project to life. It was so nice to work with a great film student Thomas Banuelos, photographer Rhombie Sandoval and graphic designer Alex Chang. Such a great experience. I wish Art Center kept us in the loop!! They ended up hiring a designer to see the project out for the classroom materials (Maria Moon.) We made the video, concept, posters, photographs, cardboard cut outs. I wish they gave us more credit.
Working on a new project on the Diamond Bar High School Robotics team. More photos coming sooooooooon.
